Sumptuous colour work from Oscar Cavazos and D'jeevan again on this page, not just in the brilliance that they bring to the explosion but also in the delicate shading on Ephemer's space suit/module. It complements Nickel's eye for detail perfectly.

Most of this page is as originally written by Nickel. I know Nickel's original mentioned the destruction of life forms. I think I made it more of a catalogue and added the reference to "sentient" beings in order to underline Ephemer's single-minded heartlessness.

I also changed the tone of QN's last line on this page. Given the emphasis on free will (or the lack of it!) I liked the idea of hinting that QN might just be capable of a little sarcasm when he thought he could get away with it!
