The artwork and colouring are worthy of mention again on this page. It's a mystery to me how the two can work together like this to suggest a detailed landscape with just the barest minimum of lines and some subtle use of shading. Extraordinary!
Scriptwise, this is where I begin to justify my creation of Stella! For whatever reason, I find that comics which rely on third party narration draw me into the story far less than those which use a full exchange of dialogue. I don't know why. I think it's something to do with creating a sense of "immediacy" and the way characters are better at expressing their personalities when they talk to other characters. That being the case, however, the problem I had from here on in was that - with QN left alone on the spaceship - he had no-one to talk to (all say "aaah!")
The solution was to create a foil for him. Not so easy, however, when the artwork is already complete and there are no other characters shown in the panels. Clearly the character had to be one we couldn't see. Enter Stella!
