Wonderful artwork on the cover here!
Even in black and white, it was clear that Fabrizio had captured the essence of the lead character, Jeste - that mix of heartless killing machine and little-girl vulnerability. It would have been so easy to focus on one at the expense of the other but Fabrizio brilliantly manages to capture them both!
And then there are the colours by Oscar Cavazos! Those of you who remember Oscar's work on "Immortality" and "The Long Vigil" will know he's always been impressive with a paint-box in his hands but this - his first experiment with texturing his colours - is something special. His colours here really complement Fabrizio's inks and bring Jeste eerily to life!
